Request a Digital Certificate

To access Commerzbank's online products you will require a Digital Certificate. A Digital Certificate is a secure means of accessing our products without having to remember usernames and passwords.

Account Identification


Collection Password

You need to create a password. This will allow us to confirm your identity when you install your Digital Certificate and secure the downloaded certificate.
This password must have at least 12 characters, and we recommend putting together random words, like HorseBatteryStapleGun. The Password must not contain unsafe patterns or words like "password", "1234", "asdf", etc.



If the information is correct, we will send an email to the identified accounts email address. This operation may take a moment or two.

Root and Intermediate CA
See below our Certificate Authorities. These must be part of your certificate storage or the browser may have troubles using the certificate.

Installation
Once downloaded, right-click on it to open the context menu and press on "Install Certificate", follow the instructions and if asked for Certificate Store, select "Place all certificates in the following store" and chose for the Root CA the Trusted Root Certification Authority and for the SubCA 10 the Intermediate Certification Authority.
We do advise to download the certificates via the context menu (right click on link) and "Save link as...".
